According to this MSNBC.com news article, a gun club in Arizona is offering a unique way to get into the spirit of the season. For a mere $5.00 for members (or $10 for non-members), participants can go to a "Santa Shoot".
No, they're not going to shoot Santa. Rather they can be shot (photographically speaking) with Santa... while holding their choice from among a selection of automatic weapons: M60s, M249s, M240s and a modified Ar15. Alternatively, more traditional holiday props (i.e. reindeer antlers) may be chosen.This is actually the second "Santa Shoot" the Scottsdale, Arizona club has hosted this year. The earlier one - which was held in November 26 - was quite well attended, with 500 folks taking advantage of the opportunity to handle automatic weapons in a "safe, controlled environment."
