Fortunately the superintendent of schools - John Niederkorn - had sense enough to put an end to that practice. He said, "Certainly a blessing by one individual to another after a sneeze is acknowledgement of a social norm."
Thank you, Mr. Niederkorn!

ReplyDeleteMost of us don't even say the "God," do we? Seems like I only ever say or hear "bless you!" Pretty funny, though.
ReplyDeleteThe liberal moonbats infesting our classrooms are continually at it. Mr. Niederkorn needs a bouquet of flowers for his common sense.
ReplyDeleteI think we should say to people like this teacher, "I'm offended that you are offended by my exercising my First Amendment rights. Since when do you have the authority to deny them?" I'd be glad to take a few demerits on that one.
I swear, common sense has gone so far out the window it's not even funny. I'm glad Mr. Niederkorn spoke up and ended those dumb demerits.
ReplyDeleteAnd the crazy thing is that leftists usually brag about how "tolerant" they are and excoriate conservatives (whether religious or political) for being "bigots". Yet they often turn out to be just as bad if not worse than the people they condemn. Make no mistake: leftists are often anything but tolerant or open-minded. Can you say "hypocrisy"?
ReplyDeleteLol too funny!!! hehe :)
ReplyDeleteI swear people are taking this stuff way to far. I guess that there is a lady who paints ornaments for the Christmas tree at the White House. Obama wrote her a letter this year and said it wasn't going to be a Christmas tree but a Holiday tree so please paint the ornaments accordingly and she wrote him back a letter and said, I only paint Christmas ornaments so if you aren't having a Christmas tree you don't need ornaments for the tree.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how far some people will go. Thank you for joining Planet Weidknecht's Weekend Hop. I am following you and hope to see you again soon.
