Wordless: Back at the butterfly house

This fella rode around in her hand for over an hour.
Check his eyes. (I guess they're eyes, anyway?)

The guy on the pink flower is gorgeous. Double-click to see better.

  2. Blogger's note - if you don't understand Spanish either, I'll save you a moment of time - I used the internet to translate the last comment into English:

"Excellent photo!!! But it gives me the creeps"

  10. Recently (in Vienna) we say a squirrel eating out of a man's hand and a bird eating out of a a lady's hand, and both sitting on the same bench.

This picture of the the butterfly in the hand is wonderful.

  29. Hi Jeannette - I went to your site (LOVELY, by the way), but didn't see the photo you're referring to. Unfortunately the butterfly in the 3rd shot was camera shy - I never got closer to him (or her) than about 10 feet away. Not sure what it was. The wings were almost translucent. Beautiful!!!

  32. Great photos. I 'm over from Shah's Weekend Hop. I shared some photos myself for my entry. Butterflies and other insects and animals are hard to photograph sometimes. You have to be quick. These turned out beautiful.
