Don't let your Labrador litter!

In a new article found here, you can read about a new way to use DNA technology to track down criminal activity. Certain apartment complexes - such as Timberwood Commons in Lebanon, N.H. - are requiring their residents to provide a sample of their doggie's... um... deposits so that they can use scientific expertise to determine which owners are allowing their canines to leave undesirable substances in their wake.

PooPrints - the Tennessee lab which has been enlisted to help find the fecal felons - says that 20 or so U.S. properties are using their services to detect the source of the doo. Check their website, which advertises that you can "keep your grounds clean and free of hidded threats with PooPrint".
