7 or 8 years ago (or so), my husband drug me - kicking and screaming - to a baseball game. Frankly, I was NOT enthused at the prospect. I thought baseball was approximately as exciting as watching pimples grow.
Little did I know that I'd soon get hooked.
We're fortunate to live within a half hour of the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, and have attended games regularly for several years now. On Monday, we had a day game (which we lost, darn it). But I took along the camera and got some shots of the Bulls stretching and warming up. And since the You Capture challenge this week was "Games", so I'm sharing this post there, as well as at Weekend Walk-about and Foto Friday.
Are you this limber?
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW, because our team is the Durham Bulls, the "bull" theme is carried out in neighboring shops, etc. Here is a bicycle rack outside of the parking deck, just to give you an idea. I thought I'd share that at Today Is Rednesday, where the theme is (GUESS WHAT!) red!!
As long as we're on the baseball theme, I thought I'd share a picture of what April at the ballpark can be like. This is me, and yepper - I was C-O-L-D! Go over to Shoot Me to see other folks sharing photos in which they come out from behind the camera and show their faces!

Boy, I wish...those days were a LONG time ago!

I really like that bike rack. I'm not much of a baseball fan, I've tried but can't get into the game. We are more into desert racing and NASCAR than anything else.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with Weekend Walkabout. I love the pics!
